Interpretation

Sherif El Sebaie speaks fluently five languages: Italian, French, English, Greek and Arabic and he is a member of the Italian National Association of Conference Interpreters. He works mainly with United Nations agencies and international and national organizations, offering simultaneous interpretation services for high-level delegations (Prime Ministers, Ministers, Ambassadors, Diplomats, Military) during ceremonies, institutional visits, summits, conferences, workshops and discussion groups.

During Expo 2015 he worked as simultaneous interpreter at the World Summit of Ministers of Culture in the presence of the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the Italian Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini and acclaimed italian author Umberto Eco. He was also the main interpreter for the institutional delegations from Arab countries, accompanying – among others – the Minister of Culture of Qatar, the Minister of Information of Kuwait and the Crown Prince of Bahrain during their visits to Expo.

During the G20 Interfaith Forum, he worked as simultaneous interpreter at the closing ceremony in the presence of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the religious authorities gathered for the occasion. During the meeting with the Archbishop of Bologna, he was the interpreter of the Secretary General of the Higher Committee on Human Fraternity established to pursue the objectives of the Document on Human Fraternity signed by the Great Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb and by Pope Francesco in Abu Dhabi.
