Consultancy and Professional Activity

Sherif El Sebaie provides consultancy services for public administrations and private organizations in all matters related to Cultural Diplomacy, International relations, cross-cultural communication, social policies, tender management and organization of complex events.

He held the position of Assistant to the Vice-Rector for International Affairs of the Polytechnic of Turin (for which he drew up a comprehensive and useful strategic plan with proposals for legislative, bureaucratic, financial and marketing actions aimed at promoting the university within Arab communities in Italy and Middle Eastern countries) and that of Consultant-Expert at the International Organization for Migration (for which he provided technical and organizational support and guidance in the preparation of a preliminary report on Egyptian expatriates in Italy).

Sherif El Sebaie worked as a Consultant for the social philanthropic banking foundation Compagnia di San Paolo, in particular with the Special Projects Department and with the Foundation for the School, on seven figures Integration Projects before being appointed – between 2011 and 2014 as Member of the Board for Social welfare (Ufficio Pio)with a budget of 18 million euros.

In 2023-24, he held the position of Operations Coordinator and Organizational Supervisor for the Conservation Science Workhops held in Al-Ula (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) by the Italian Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration Centre “La Venaria Reale” on behalf of the Royal Commission for Alula (RCU). For having “outstandingly fulfilled his role”, he was awarded a joint certificate of Recognition and Appreciation by RCU and the CCR Venaria.

For several years Sherif El Sebaie has played – formally and informally – the role of Spin doctor and Expert in cultural policies for some political figures, suggesting and implementing communication and political action strategies before and during the electoral campaign and during their institutional activity.

In 2011 he was selected, out of over 350 applications, to be part of a group of 30 young citizens of Turin actively involved in the social, economic, political and cultural life of the City invited by the Compagnia di San Paolo to plan and compare the strategic priorities for the following decade.
